Crocker Highlands Benefit Auction 2012

The Online Auction is running from today until February 26.  Now is the time to register and start bidding!  There are great things to be found online, including some coveted sign up party spots, unique experiences, nights out on the town and classes and camps for the kids.  Don’t forget to pass the auction along to your friends and family – you don’t need to be a Crocker family to join in on the fun!

The Online Auction – the kick-off to Crocker’s biggest annual fundraiser – begins Saturday, February 18 at 9 am and will run through 9 pm on Sunday, February 26.

Don’t miss the chance to bid on hundreds of great items, including:

• The second annual Crocker School Sleepover!
• Your very own Vespa Scooter!
• A San Francisco Getaway for two!
• Tons of great restaurants, camps & classes!
• Tickets for four to the Oakland A’s, including a pre-game field visit and parking pass

In addition, the online auction will include some of Crocker’s most popular Sign-Up parties. The spots for these coveted parties may sell out during the Online Auction, so get a jump on the competition and sign-up now!

Most of these items will only be available through the Online Auction, so don’t miss this chance to make some great purchases and support Crocker at the same time! Please visit the online auction starting at 9:00 am SATURDAY to begin bidding!

The invitations have been emailed! Each Crocker family should receive one (check all your inboxes and spam folders too!) – if you haven’t received one, please let us know!

Now it is time to buy your tickets and register! Don’t hesitate – we sold out last year! Purchasing your tickets is easy and can be done at: www.auction.crockerschool.org/ and click on the tickets! While you are there you can also buy your Golden Ticket and pre-buy wine for your table! This way you know that you’ll have wine to drink during dinner.

The Cupcake Challenge is over and was a HUGE success! Over 50% of all families in each class participated…very impressive!

Let’s get ready for some cupcakes!

This should help remind you…get those donations, ads & parties in!  The deadline is approaching and we know that  you still have some great ideas for parties, some gift cards just sitting in your kitchen drawer and the perfect class basket up your sleeve.  Now is the time to fill out the online submission forms and get on the auction bandwagon.  You know you want to…and you know that you kid wants a cupcake!

By now you all should have received a flyer in your child’s backpack about the Cupcake Challenge.  We need your donations, ads, parties/sign-ups & wine!  Now is the time!!!  We truly are hoping for 100% school participation – after all, it is OUR KIDS who benefit from this auction!

Please take a moment to donate.  This is the perfect time to contact an old friend, the person who cuts your hair, your favorite boutique or restaurant, that college buddy who has that super cool job or to even just donate that restaurant gift certificate you haven’t gotten around to using!

We hope that you had a great time over winter break and are enjoying the New Year!  We are now in full-auction-craziness and are looking for some great items, experiences and services to donate.  So, if you have something that would make a great auction item (or not so great – beauty is in the eye of the beholder) please, please, please let us know.  If you have a friend, colleague or neighbor who might have something – please ask them as well!  Don’t forget to ask all the restaurants and services you frequent too.  After all – it’s for the kids!

As you finish up your holiday lists, don’t forget about the Auction!

1. Please, read the Auction Letter that your child brought home last week.  This letter contains ideas for donations and hosted parties.  It even tells you how you can help your child’s class earn a cupcake party.
2. When gathered around the holiday table or chit-chatting at a holiday party, don’t forget to ask your family & friends if they have an item or service that they would like to donate to the Crocker Auction.
3. Consider hosting a party!  Parties for kids, adults for everybody.  Crocker loves to party!
4. Become an Auction Sponsor and/or Advertiser.  It’s easy – just click on “Become a Sponsor” on the right side of this page.  Don’t you want to see your business on our website and in our Auction catalog?
5. Make your donation to the Auction.  Don’t forget to reference your child/children’s name so they will get credit for the cupcake challenge.

We’ve made donating, sponsoring, advertising and hosting a party so easy!  Just click on the button on the right – fill out the form – and you’re set!

If you already have a donation item to drop off, please put it in the green PTA box (& label it “auction donation”), put it in the box in the office or drop it off at 1015 Clarendon Crescent.

Donations, Sponsorships, Advertising, Parties and More…
It’s official — the Crocker Benefit Auction website is up and running!

Click any of the links under “Get Involved” to support this important annual auction fundraiser benefiting Crocker Highlands Elementary.   There are so many ways to contribute, including donating goods and services, sponsoring the event, advertising online and in our catalog, and more.  All proceeds from the Benefit Auction go toward maintaining integral school programs such as music, art, computers and more.

The Crocker Benefit Auction 2012 will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
